CVN Monthly Update, Dec. 2009: Wrapping up the Year

Below is our most recent email--please let us know any feedback. Also, if you aren't getting these in your inbox, sign up on the County site (be sure to check the box that you're interested in CVN and in receiving emails): http://tinyurl.com/CVN-register
Dear CVN volunteer,

Happy holidays to everyone!

I hope everyone is already or soon to be taking it easy over the holidays with family and friends. We just wanted to hit you with a quick set of upcoming events, along with two other quick notes:
  1. Sharon Tewksbury-Bloom, our awesome and talented County Liaison from Volunteer Arlington, will be in touch later today with the details on our new, incoming Leadership Team (LT) members (along with some much-earned thanks to our 2009 LT!)--we're pretty pumped about a solid crew coming in, and excited about all the possibilities we're hoping to open up for more people to get involved with CVN in more ways.

  2. We have hooked up a new Volunteer Arlington Facebook Fan page, which has links to CVN and ways to search for volunteer opportunities--check it out here and "fan" Volunteer Arlington (and if you aren't already a member of our CVN group on FB, hit that up here).
