Getting Engaged – CVN’s Monthly Volunteering Committee

Are you interested in planning volunteer events? Learning about diverse needs in Arlington? Improving the quality of CVN volunteer experiences? CVN’s Monthly Volunteering Committee (MVC) is looking for two new Committee Leads to help do all of the above.

For the last four months, the MVC has led the planning and development of CVN’s one-time volunteer events. The leads seek out and plan volunteer events that they think would be worthwhile and interesting for CVN volunteers. The MVC meets once a month to discuss lessons learned from the previous’ months activities and then decide how to best move forward. The MVC also supports the Monthly Volunteer Chair (that’s me) by providing advice and guidance on how to strengthen the volunteer opportunities that CVN offers.

If taking on a larger role in CVN and helping to expand the positive community impact of 20-30 year old Arlingtonians sounds like something you would be interested in, please let me know! If you are interested
or have any questions, you can email me at CVN.M.Volunteering@gmail.com.

Thanks!

Kellen
