9/11 - National Day of Service

This past weekend, one of CVN's monthly volunteer leads, Reco Thomas, was present for a ceremony in which the firefighters from New York presented the Arlington County Fire Department with a gift of steel from the World Trade Center.

What will you do to celebrate the National Day of Service?

Since the tragic events that took place on September 11, 2001,
Arlington residents have memorialized the date by taking time to reflect, remember, and build a stronger community. This year, Arlingtonians will join with the entire nation in honoring the lives that were lost by participating in the second annual National Day of Service.
