The 35th Annual Arlington County Fair is August 10-14, 2011. The Arlington County Fair is one of the largest free events on the East Coast and they have lots of volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in volunteering you can fill out the form at http://tinyurl.com/ACFvolunteer or email ACFvolunteer@gmail.com . All volunteers are required to attend an orientation. It is at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, at the Central Library auditorium. The orientation will be a chance for you to learn more about the fair and the volunteer opportunities, and to ask any questions you may have. The orientation will also cover the logistics of volunteer check-in and check-out, expectations of volunteers and also the perks of volunteering! They will also raffle tickets to a concert at the 9:30 club and fair t-shirts as door-prizes to say thank you for giving your time to the Fair.
