1000 Hours May Update!

Hey CVNers, just wanted to update all of you on the great progress we're making towards our goal of 1,000 hours of CVN volunteering in 2012.  It's only May and we're already half way there at 500 hours.  That's really impressive and you should all be proud of yourselves.

Now, there may be a few skeptics out there who think that even though we're at 500 hours now we might have been there last year too.  Well, I went back through the records and at the end of May 2011 we had only 370 hours.  That means we're doing 35% better than last year which is an incredible increase.  If we keep up this pace we'll shatter our 1000 hour goal. I have faith that we can do it, but to make it a reality we need to keep doing good in our neighborhood.  There are a bunch of open events in June, so go check out the calendar and find one to sign up for.  Together we can help make Arlington a better place!
