Volunteer Opportunity: George Washington Birthday Parade

Calling all history buffs and car enthusiasts!

The Alexandria Jaycees need you (and a friend) to put your driving moccasins and get ready for the ride of your life. They are in need of 5-10 more drivers for the George Washington Birthday Parade being held on February 21st.

The Details:

The Alexandria Jaycees will be providing manpower to assist the George Washington Birthday Celebration Committee with drivers for the local dignitaries in the parade on Monday, February 21, 2011.

On the day of the parade, drivers will drive cars provided by local dealerships that will carry VIPS along the parade route. Jaycees will serve only as drivers, unless they specifically asked to be parade marshals.

There is a brunch for the volunteers after the parade.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact Jennifer Paquette at JenniferLPaquette @ yahoo.com (remove spaces) as soon as possible.
