February Activities & 2011 Annual Report

Message from the Chair

CVN is proud to share our 2011 Annual Report (PDF) with our volunteers and supporters. The report details CVN's volunteer activities throughout the year, including 929 hours of service contributed by 341 volunteers.

Registration has begun for returning teams wishing to participate in WAKA Arlington Spring Kickball. CVN's kickball team, CVN Kicks Grass, has a core group returning to play in the spring with plenty of room for new players. The season will run from 4/26 - 6/21 and games are held on Thursdays in Arlington with start times between 6:45 and 9:00 pm. The field is TBD this season. Cost of registration is around $65, which includes a t-shirt, field rental, kickball equipment, and a couple parties. Even if you haven't played kickball since the 5th grade, we'd love to have you join us. For more details or registration information, please e-mail team captain Kelly Corbally at kjcorby@hotmail.com.

I look forward to seeing you next Tuesday at the monthly meet-up at Front Page!

  • Tuckahoe Elementary Garden - Sunday February 19th, 2:00-4:00pm | Join CVN at a gardening/landscaping session at Tuckahoe Elementary School.
