Just wanted to give you all a quick update on our 1,000 hours goal. For October we are up to 793 hours. This is a great number, and the huge turnout at our annual Community Residences clean up will only make it greater. I don't have the exact final number on that event yet, but from the number of people who showed up I feel like it is likely to be a whopping 100 hours or more!
If we can get good turnout to our remaining November events (Clothing Distribution with APAH and the Elementary Fall Family Campfire) we should have a great shot of reaching the impressive milestone of 1,000 hours in December. But don't rest on your laurels just yet there's still lots to help with in Arlington. You've all done a great job pushing CVN towards this never before reached goal, but we need to keep going, not just to reach a number but to do some real good in the world.
